MotoGP Misano: Masterful Martin claims seventh Moto3 pole of 2018
Jorge Martin did what he does best and claimed his seventh Moto3 pole of 2018 as his late lap piped Gabi Rodrigo to the line in Misano. The Spaniard has seemed in a class of his own through qualifying this year and this weekend was no exception. Lingering down in seventh as the final flying laps started, Martin navigated his way though the traffic on his lap to take the top spot from Rodrigo. Despite Rodrgio’s best efforts, his final lap wasn’t enough to beat Martin’s, although the Spaniard did improve his fastest time on his final lap to end with a 1:41.823, which was 0.311 seconds ahead of Rodrigo. Aron Canet will join Martin and Rodrigo on the front row of the grid for tomorrows...
