MotoGP Silverstone: Crutchlow tops chilly free practice three

Cal Crutchlow was fastest in MotoGP free practice three on a chilly Saturday morning at Silverstone as just ten riders improved from their Friday free practice two times. The home rider missed on out leading the opening day of proceedings at Silverstone by just 0.005 seconds did manage to finish FP3 fastest, albeit with a time that was nearly half a second slow than his FP2 time. Crutchlow finished just ahead of Danilo Petrucci who was one of two riders whose FP3 time managed to promote him directly into Q2 with a time that was good enough to go seventh fastest in combined practices.
