MotoGP Brno: Vinales splits with crew chief Forcada
Movistar Yamaha's Maverick Vinales has confirmed he will replace crew chief Ramon Forcada with Esteban Garcia for next season. Vinales is keen to build his own team on his side of the Yamaha garage and Forcada, who will head to Petronas Yamaha, was a hangover from the Lorenzo era. Garcia, currently, Bradley Smith's crew chief, worked with Vinales in 2013 and they secured the Moto3 title. “I’m looking forward to working with Esteban, because in 2013 he brought the best out of me. And that’s what’s important, to feel good about my people. All I want is to make my own team,' said Vinales.
