MotoGP form man Jorge Lorenzo says he is "one of the fastest" riders after Friday at Assen, apart from in the final sector of the track. Lorenzo ended the first day of the Dutch TT seventh-fastest, 0.484s slower than pace-setter Maverick Vinales. However the majority of the gap came from the final sector, where he lost 0.342s to Vinales and was only 17th in the field. The final chicane of Assen consists of fast corners such as Hoge Heide and the Ramshoek left-hander, as well as the slow Geert Timmer Bocht chicane.
