MotoGP Catalunya: Quartararo flies to maiden Moto2 victory

Pole sitter Fabio Quartararo flew to his maiden Moto2 victory converting his very first pole position in the process, with Miguel Oliveira closing the gap at the top of the World Championship to one point. The 19-year-old came into the World Championship after winning the junior World Championship as a 13-year-old and after failing to impress in the junior categories, the Frenchman had the perfect weekend. Alex Marquez took the whole shot and the early race leader but the story of the start was all about Miguel Oliveira. Starting in 17th, Oliveira found himself leading the race after 6 laps.
