Andrea Dovizioso said that his front tyre choice cost him a chance at victory in todays Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. The Italian decided to go with the asymmetric hard front tyre, whilst race winner Jorge Lorenzo went with the medium compound front tyre, something which ultimately saw him victorious. “During the race I lost the front too many times and after the crash of Marc, but especially after losing the front too many times after Le Mans, during the race I was thinking about a lot of things,” said Dovizioso. “I tried to catch Jorge but I was slower in the last part of the braking zone and the middle of the corners.
