Moto3 World Championship favourite Jorge Martin produced a qualifying masterclass to secure his fourth consecutive pole position. The Spaniard who has topped every session so far this weekend eased into the session, taking over from his team-mate Fabio Di Giannantonio midway through the session before spending nearly twenty minutes sat in his Gresini pitbox. Despite nobody eclipsing the time he set earlier in the session, Martin went back onto track in the closing stages to further cement his pole position with a 1’56.634, just two hundredths of a second off the outright lap record set by Danny Kent in 2015.
