Movistar Yamaha's Maverick Vinales topped the Barcelona MotoGP test timesheets by almost a third of a second from Johann Zarco with Ducati's Jorge Lorenzo in third. After yesterday's action was basically cancelled due to rain the morning, the series front runners got down to business at the Spanish track and Vinales came out on top with a 1'38.974 set late on in the afternoon which knocked Zarco's 1'39.097 into second place. Zarco himself had deposed Lorenzo from the number one spot after the former champion set a 1'39.257.
