Reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez led the opening practice session for the French Grand Prix at Le Mans after beating Andrea Dovizioso by a scant 0.025 seconds. Amid cool but sunny conditions, the laptimes on the Le Mans Bugatti circuit tumbled in the final part of the 45-minute session, with the top spot changing hands several times.
