Bartholemy insists Marc VDS team boss role is secure
Marc VDS MotoGP team boss Michael Bartholemy says his role at the Belgian outfit is not under threat amid reports of a rift with owner Marc van der Straten. Bartholemy issued a statement on Monday evening addressing claims made that he had been mismanaging the Marc VDS squad's resources and that he would therefore be removed from his post. Van der Straten himself moved to confirm last week that his team is committed to racing until the end of 2021, with a deal to run Yamaha bikes starting next season close to being struck.
