Alex Marquez beat Lorenzo Baldassarri in final Moto2 practice in Qatar

Friday pacesetter Alex Marquez ended Moto2 practice in Qatar on top after a late effort put him 0.131 seconds ahead of Lorenzo Baldassarri. Much like the prior Moto3 session, Moto2 FP3 was run in scorching conditions, which meant improving on Friday's best times was made impossible. Intact GP's Xavi Vierge, who joins the team this season from Tech3, set the early pace in final practice with a 2:02.388s, and improving on his following lap to a 2:02.272s. Mattia Pasini proved his closest challenger for much of the 45 minutes, the Italtrans rider just over a tenth adrift, while Vierge's teammate Marcel Schortter slotted into third a further tenth of a second adrift....
