Qatar MotoGP test: Iannone on top in the desert

Ecstar Suzuki's Andrea Iannone put in a late charge to top the second day of MotoGP testing at Qatar, and was under the circuit lap record set in 2016 to boot. The Italian set a 1'54.586 on his 45th lap to push Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso into second place after the Desmosedici pilot had let for a majority of the day with a 1'54.627. Marc Marquez also put in a late lap to claim third place, setting a 1'54.753 on his 58th lap of 59. More in a minute Click here for times
