Nakasuga gets usual Motegi wildcard run
– Katsuyuki Nakasuga will make his traditional wildcard appearance with Yamaha at this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix.Nakasuga, 36, has had outings on the YZR-M1 at each Motegi round since 2012, taking a best of eighth at the 2015 running of the event.Nakasuga has one MotoGP podium to his name, achieved when he acted as a replacement rider at 2012's finale at Valencia.Nakasuga, a six-time winner of the Japanese Superbike Championship, has been part of Yamaha's test stable for several years.His presence means that there will be two home riders competing in the premier class at Motegi, with Hiroshi Aoyama replacing the injured Jack Miller at Marc VDS.
