Valentino Rossi 'will do everything' to be back 'as soon as possible'

Valentino Rossi says he will do everything to ensure he's back riding as soon as possible after being discharged from hospital on Friday evening. Rossi suffered displaced fractures of the tibia and fibula in his right-leg after being involved in an enduro motocross crash on Thursday. He was taken to the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Ospedali Riuniti for surgery, where metal plates were inserted into his leg. Doctors have now given the Yamaha rider the OK to leave and recover at home, but have warned him that a minimum 30 days rest is required, which would rule him out of the next two rounds at San Marino and Aragon.
