Lüthi to step up to MotoGP with Marc VDS
– Thomas Lüthi will graduate to MotoGP with Marc VDS in 2018, following a lengthy spell in Moto2.Lüthi, the 2005 125cc champion, has been active in the second tier of racing since 2007, finishing runner-up last season, after several top five classifications.Now aged 30, the Swiss rider, who recently acted as a test rider for the returning KTM, will make his debut in the top echelon next year.Lüthi will partner Franco Morbidelli, whom he trails by 26 points in this year's Moto2 fight."There were a number of options open to us when we were looking for a MotoGP rider for the 2018 season, but Thomas Lüthi was the unanimous choice, despite him being a MotoGP rookie,"...
