Kallio confirmed for Sachsenring round
– KTM test rider Mika Kallio will join regular racers Pol Espargaró and Bradley Smith at this weekend's German Grand Prix after being entered as a wildcard.Kallio joined KTM towards the end of 2015 as the Austrian manufacturer prepared for its full-time entry into MotoGP for 2017 and gave the RC16 machine its race debut at last year's Valencia finale.The Finn, 34, who competed in the premier class in 2009/10, has enjoyed the bulk of his success in the intermediary 250cc/Moto2 division, but has not raced full-time since becoming KTM's test rider.KTM holds last place in this year's 12-team standings, with Espargaró taking its highest finish so far, 11th, at the most recent event in...
