LCR has renewed its technical partnership in MotoGP with Honda, and retained Cal Crutchlow through to 2019. LCR has been partnered by Honda since it graduated to MotoGP in 2006 while Crutchlow joined the squad in 2015, after previous spells at Tech 3 Yamaha and Ducati. Crutchlow claimed two victories in 2016 to finish seventh overall in the standings, a position he also holds this year ahead of the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix.
