– Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi has been discharged from hospital, following Thursday's motocross accident.Rossi fell while riding at the Cross Club Cavallara in Mondavio and was diagnosed with mild thoracic and abdominal trauma.Rossi spent the night at the Ospedale Infermi in Rimini and reported minor pain due to slight liver and kidney lesions, which had not developed into anything more serious.Routing diagnostic checks were carried out on Friday afternoon and Rossi was discharged from hospital, allowing him to continue his recovery in his own surroundings.The Italian currently sits third in the MotoGP standings, 23 points behind team-mate Maverick Viñales.
