Avintia continues with Ducati for 2018
– Avintia has renewed its contract as a customer Ducati squad, with both of its riders set to use the Italian manufacturer's 2017 machinery in MotoGP next season.Avintia, which entered the premier class in 2012, has used Ducati's Desmosedici bikes since late 2014, with Héctor Barberá currently using a GP16 and team-mate Loris Baz equipped with a GP15.For 2018, Avintia will have two GP17s available for its yet-to-be-confirmed rider line-up."I'm extremely happy to announce that we will be racing with Ducati next season," said CEO Raúl Romero."We are like a family and we are fully integrated in their MotoGP project."We had some more options for next season, but...
