MotoGP highlights to be broadcast on Channel 5 in 2017

Channel 5 has secured the rights to broadcast highlights of the 2017 MotoGP season in the United Kingdom. The British broadcaster showing MotoGP means the series will remain on free-to-air TV, after ITV dropped the highlights package last year. Dorna Sports confirmed highlights of MotoGP will be shown every Monday following the race, with a prime-time slot. The new season begins on the 26 March at the Losail International Circuit with the Grand Prix of Qatar. Channel 5 has added to its motorsport portfolio, currently broadcasting Formula E and the World Rally Championship in the UK.
