Lorenzo “still very far from the limit” after Sepang test
Jorge Lorenzo believes he is still “very far” away from reaching the limit of his potential on the Ducati after this week’s Sepang MotoGP test. After enjoying a smooth start to his Ducati tenure in his maiden test at Valencia last November, the three-time champion suffered a “shock” on his first day in Malaysia on Monday riding the updated 2017 Desmosedici. The Spaniard languished in 17th place, 1.669 seconds off the pace set by Ducati test rider Casey Stoner, although he was within 0.399s of the Wednesday benchmark of Yamaha's Maverick Vinales.
