Rabat dealt injury blow in Sepang crash

– Tito Rabat's preparations for the 2017 MotoGP season have been dealt a blow after he suffered knee, foot and wrist injuries in a crash during testing at Sepang.Rabat, entering his second season in the premier class with Marc VDS, crashed heavily at Turn 11, bringing out the red flags, and was taken to hospital in Putrajaya.Rabat is still in hospital undergoing assessment, but will miss the final day of testing on Wednesday, and is set to return to Europe for treatment to his injuries."This is not the start to testing we were looking for, as Tito will not be able to ride tomorrow after his big crash at Turn 11," said team boss Michael Bartholemy."He is still in the...
