Austria voted best MotoGP event of 2016
MotoGP organisers have voted the Austrian Grand Prix as the best event of the 2016 season, the championship announced on Friday. Austria returned to the MotoGP calendar this year for the first time since 1997, hosting the 10th round of the championship in August. Members representing ruling body FIM, teams' association IRTA and promoter Dorna voted the Red Bull Ring event as the best of 2016.
