Jorge Lorenzo: Saying goodbye to Yamaha won't be easy

Jorge Lorenzo has admitted saying goodbye to the Yamaha MotoGP team “won’t be easy” ahead of his switch to Ducati in 2017. The Spanish rider will compete with Yamaha for the final time in Valencia this weekend, at the MotoGP season finale. His move to Ducati alongside Andrea Dovizioso will end a nine-year run competing for Yamaha at the top-tier of MotoGP, after he started racing in the series in 2008. He’s won three MotoGP titles with Yamaha over the years but now takes on a new challenge with Ducati, having signed a two-year-deal from 2017.
