Barbera to replace Iannone at Motegi, Jones in at Avintia
The injured Andrea Iannone will be replaced for this weekend’s MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi by Avintia Racing rider Hector Barbera. Ducati did not originally confirm a replacement for Iannone when the team announced he will not be racing in Japan due to an injury sustained at Misano. But Avintia rider Barbera will now move over to replace Iannone and race alongside Andrea Dovizioso at Ducati for this weekend’s race.
