Pedrosa undergoes successful arm surgery

Repsol Honda MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa has undergone successful surgery this morning in Madrid as he bids to solve the arm pump problems that held him back last weekend at Qatar. Immediately after the race, Pedrosa admitted that his MotoGP career was under threat as he explained that he had already undergone surgery on his arm, only for the issue to flare up once again as he rode to a distant sixth place finish behind team-mate Marc Marquez. The Spaniard's decision to go under the knife once more was revealed yesterday, and HRC has confirmed that the "complicated and aggressive" surgery has been a success.
