MotoGP Assen: Lorenzo to try a ‘completely different setting'
Movistar Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo wants to ‘try something different’ with the set-up of his M1, after finding he was four tenths off the pace of leading riders, Valentino Rossi and Ducati’s Andrea Iannone, during the second MotoGP free practice session in Assen. The current champion wants to be more competitive and improve his pace, and for two years has struggled with speed on the T4 section on the Dutch circuit. Now he wants to try a ‘different direction’ going into qualifying tomorrow, after setting a 1’33.991 which placed him P5 on the timesheets. “This afternoon we were more competitive, we miss three or four tenths in pace and we will try a completely different setting...
