Petrucci to make MotoGP return at Le Mans

Danilo Petrucci will make his MotoGP comeback for next weekend's Le Mans race, after sitting out the first four rouns of the year through injury. The Pramac Ducati rider has been out of action since breaking the second, third and fourth metacarpals of his right hand in a testing crash at Phillip Island in February. He attempted to take part in the first race weekend of the year at Qatar, but was forced to withdraw after third practice when an X-ray revealed a dislocated bone segment. His place for the subsequent three races was taken by Ducati tester Michele Pirro, who took a best finish of eighth at Austin.
