No reason not to have two MotoGPs in Australia
A second Australian circuit could join the MotoGP calendar in the near future after FIM safety officer Franco Uncini visited SA Motorsport Park in Adelaide. After a two-hour inspection of the construction site, Uncini declared that the circuit would be able to meet MotoGP's class A standard. "In general the circuit is very safe and very exciting," Adelaide's The Advertiser reports Uncini as saying. "I have worked with the [site developers] Peregrine Corporation for some time and it is fantastic to be here for the first time and see this fantastic layout.
