After spending the last two seasons racing for Pons in Moto2, Hector Garzo will return to MotoE and Tech3 in 2022. Following some stand-in Moto2 rides at Tech3 in 2017 and 2018, Garzo was picked to represent the team - alongside Kenny Foray - in the inaugural 2019 season of the electric bike class. Garzo impressed with three podiums from the six rounds and fourth overall in the standings, prompting the chance of a Moto2 ride with the Pons Flexbox HP40 team for 2020 and 2021.
