Marquez confirmed to miss Brno MotoGP event, Bradl to deputise

The factory Honda MotoGP outfit have confirmed that Marc Marquez will skip this weekend’s Czech grand prix at Brno following further surgery on his broken arm on Monday. News broke yesterday evening that the world champion had once again gone under the knife in order to replace the titanium plate he had installed to try and speed up the recovery of the broken right humerus he sustained in his violent Spanish GP crash. The plate had to be swapped out due to “over-stress”, forcing Marquez to remain in hospital for 48 hours in order to determine a rough recovery time.
