Italian and Barcelona MotoGP events postponed, season start delayed until late June

The Italian and Barcelona grands prix have become the latest rounds of the MotoGP world championship to be postponed until later in the season due to Covid-19. The first six contests of the 2020 campaign have already been cancelled or postponed as a result of the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, and with the situations failing to improve sufficiently in either Italy or Spain their respective rounds that were due to begin the season have now also fallen by the wayside.
