Suzuki's Joan Mir set for Misano MotoGP return
Joan Mir has confirmed he is working towards his MotoGP return at Misano next weekend, having tested his Suzuki GSX-RR at the pre-event test at the end of last week. Mir has been out of action since suffering from a pulmonary contusion as a result of a fearsome 300km/h crash while taking part in the post-Brno test at the Czech venue. He was ruled out of the following weekend’s Austrian GP, before also being forced to miss the British GP-which team-mate Alex Rins went on to win- due to persistent bruising on his lungs.
