MotoGP Brno: Pedrosa finishes Friday on top

Retiring Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa took advantage of soaring track temperatures at the Brno MotoGP round to claim top spot on the Friday timesheets as the only man to break the 1'56s barrier in the Czech Republic. Pedrosa stuck in a soft rear Michelin to put in a 1'55.976 on his 16th lap while team-mate Marc Marquez, as is becoming usual, didn't participate in the time attack, staying out on the same set of tyres to put in a scorching race run.
