MotoGP Austin: Harsher penalties in wayward riders' future

FIM stewards will impose harsher penalties on wayward riders in future following a meeting of the MotoGP safety commission last night. Because of the furore surrounding the antics of Marc Marquez in the Argentine race, plus accusations that were thrown in the direction of Joahnn Zarco and Danilo Petrucci, it has been agreed that the race stewards will get tough in future. Riders deemed to be behaving in a manner which causes danger to others will more than likely by being shown the black flag. No official word has come from wither the FIM or Dorna but this is one of the things that is understood to have been agreed in the meeting - which Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez attended.
