MotoGP Qatar: Vinales gets back his corner speed with fundamental change

If there was an award for ride of the day in MotoGP, it would surely go to Maverick Vinales who fought from 15th on lap one through to sixth after a fundamanetal setup direction change re-discovered the Yamaha M1's reason to be - corner speed. The Spaniard was able to put in a succession of 1'55s laps, as fast or faster than the leaders, as he came through the pack and it was only a lack of acceleratio that held him behind the likes of Jack Miller on his rocketship Desmosedici.
