Marc Marquez says Honda has 'priority' in 2019 contract talks

Marc Marquez has stressed securing an extension on his current contract with Honda remains his priority as rumours regarding the 2019 rider market begin to mount. The Spaniard has been a mainstay of the factory Honda squad since he stepped up to the premier class in 2013, securing four MotoGP titles for the marque in his five seasons in the top tier. With his current agreement with HRC expiring this season, rumours of a potential switch from Honda – most notably to KTM – picked up steam towards the end of last year.
