MotoGP reduces pre-season testing for 2019

– MotoGP officials have outlined the regulations over testing, with the number of pre-season sessions set to be reduced for 2019.Under current regulations, official testing takes place for two days following the Valencia finale, with three lots of three-day gatherings held across January, February and March, prior to the start of the campaign.In 2018, these will take place in Malaysia, Thailand and Qatar, but for 2019 the number of non-European pre-season tests will be reduced to two.The Grand Prix Commission, which met at last weekend's Japanese Grand Prix, also clarified the in-season and private testing regulations for both 2018 and 2019.Grand Prix Commission statement:"Teams...
