Alvaro Bautista to remain with Aspar MotoGP team in 2018
Álvaro Bautista will remain with Aspar in MotoGP next season, the team confirmed on Monday. The Spaniard reunited with Aspar this season in the premier class, having riden for the squad in the 125cc and 250cc classes – he claimed the 125cc title in 2006. Bautista currently holds 11th in the standings this year, with fourth place his best finish in Argentina. He will continue to ride for the team next year. Jorge Martínez, Aspar team general manager, says the deal shows their belief in the 32-year-old.
