Rossi injured in motocross training crash

– Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi is recovering after sustaining mild injuries in a motocross training accident on Thursday evening.Rossi was at the Cross Club Cavallara in Mondavio but fell and was taken to a local hospital for a medical check-up.He was diagnosed with mild thoracic and abdominal trauma, though no fractures were detected in any part of the body and no serious traumatic pathologies were found.Yamaha is set to issue a further bulletin on Friday lunchtime regarding Rossi's condition.Rossi currently occupies third place in the standings, 23 points behind team-mate Maverick Viñales, after crashing out on the last lap of last weekend's French Grand Prix.
