Crutchlow slams “disrespectful” Pedrosa replacement rumours

Cal Crutchlow has slammed “disrespectful” reports in the German press that he is being lined up to replace Dani Pedrosa at the Repsol Honda MotoGP team. The reports, which emerged on Thursday evening, suggested Crutchlow - who has taken victories for the satellite LCR Honda squad at Brno and Phillip Island - could replace Pedrosa on the factory bike alongside Marc Marquez if he were to retire from the sport. Pedrosa has missed the last two races after breaking his collarbone in a practice crash at Motegi, and will miss a third this weekend at Sepang.
