MotoGP: Crutchlow demolishes field for second Grand Prix victory

Cal Crutchlow has demolished the field at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix to become a double MotoGP race winner, converting strong pace into an easy win after keeping his cool throughout the race. Pole man Marc Marquez was an early leader, while Crutchlow diced with Pol and Aleix Espargaró in the early stages of the race, allowing the new world champion to make a break. But once Crutchlow got past the pair, he was able to hunt down Marquez, putting the Repsol Honda rider under enough to pressure to force an error, leaving Marquez to crash out of a race for the first time this year and leaving Crutchlow with clear road ahead.
