MotoGP Phillip Island: ‘I should've went with my gut instinct' says Crutchlow
Cal Crutchlow has admitted he should’ve went with his gut instinct and went straight out on slicks in today’s second MotoGP qualifying session at Phillip Island. The Brit will line up in second position on the grid for tomorrow’s race, but reckons he could’ve taken pole had he just gone with his initial feeling after the first session. “We’re a little bit disappointed with the result, I felt we could’ve maybe stolen the pole today if I was clever enough,” he said. “Normally I’m the guy to put the slicks on first and I should’ve gone with my gut instinct because after Q1 I said immediately ‘let’s go with the slicks’ “But then I changed my mind and it was the...
