Rossi already thinking about staying in MotoGP after 2018

Valentino Rossi has admitted that he is already thinking about extending his MotoGP career beyond the end of his existing Yamaha contract, which expires after the 2018 season. The revelation follows his crew chief Silvano Galbusera saying he thinks that it’s far from guaranteed the 37-year-old will choose to hang up his leathers after another two seasons, as is widely assumed. Rossi will be 39 years old when the 2018 season ends, meaning a fresh two-year deal after that would take him to the age of 41.
